CCOS consists of approximately 60+ optometrists in Central California. We have meetings throughout the year and are actively involved in promoting our profession.
We understand the importance of being part of organized optometry. Each member of this society is willing to sacrifice their time and contributions because we believe that we need to continue the legacy of our predecessors. The future of optometry will successfully move forward if we all join together with a unified voice and a common goal towards the advancement of optometry to assure the highest standards of care for our patients.
Mission Statement
The objectives of the Central California Optometric Society are to promote the art and science of the profession of optometry; to enhance the visual welfare and health of the general public, to promote advancement, encourage the autonomy of the profession of optometry; to encourage the highest standards of professional practice by doctors of optometry and to facilitate the sharing of information amongst member doctors of optometry toward the furtherance of these objectives.
